about us

I created Centre Staging (now Harmony Home Staging) in early 2009 because my house had been on the market for over 9 months with no bites.  Having a background in Marketing, I asked my real estate agent to show me the competition.  Sadly, our home was not up to par.  I thought I had done everything right, according the the Interior Design experience I had in YC, but soon realized I hadn't.  Immediately I researched online what I could do and found the Staging University in Seattle.  Initially I earned my Accreditation in Home Staging and staged my home.  Within a month we had 4 competitive offers for more money than the competition and only invested time and $200. 

I saw a need in the Bozeman area and didn't want other sellers to go through what I went through.  I had the "answer" and I wanted to share, help, and serve others.  April 2009, in a down economy, we opened for business.  Humbly, we've been able to help sellers in different situations meet their goals efficiently. 

 

Since then, I've had the honor of being a Certified Trainer for the Staging University in markets such as Seattle, New York City, and SoCal.  Staging in almost 20 states and Canadian provinces (WA, OR, ID, CA, MT, WY, CO, AZ, TX, MN, IL, OH, ME, MA, CT, NY, NJ, TN, ON, BC), I learned what buyers want in different markets and what they expect when buying in Montana.  Personally mentored and trained by the Home Staging Creator, Barb Schwarz, as the only Master Home Stager in the state of MT recognized by ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and the U.S. Government (MyCAA Program). 

 

In 2019, I changed the name to Harmony Home Staging because my focus is more on not only staging for sale but also addressing the multiple factors that can affect the sale of a home like energy, balance, color theory, and feng shui.  I wanted to get in touch with the emotion behind the sale and purchase of a home.  I believe in operating with integrity, honesty, compassion, assertiveness, creativity, open-mindedness, and always looking for solutions.

Client living in the home while it's on the market?  No problem!  We love working with what the seller has and making it look it's best by reducing, reusing, upcycling and accentuating with our staging inventory as needed.

Empty houses are difficult for buyers to envision whether their things will fit and the lifestyle they can have.  They need to mentally move in and form an emotional attachment to your house.  We specialize in knowing what buyers want and trends they follow.  Let us take the guess work out of the process for you.
