Our specialized claims team consist of design professionals and attorneys with solid experience managing E&O claims. These regionally located teams partner with recognized local defense counsel to keep architects and engineers ahead of emerging and existing risks. Handling only A/E related claims, our design professional group understands the nuances and challenges of local jurisdictions and are empowered to address and resolve claims.
We assist with project challenges, including help with crisis management and reputational harm – facilitating solutions without impacting your deductible.
Additionally, we help architects, engineers and design professionals understand and manage E&O claims by providing resources to prevent future risks. This is partly done by our Loss Prevention Assistance program for Architects and Engineers which teaches design firms how to handle circumstances before turning into a claim – such as incorporating vital language into a contract.

EARN DEDUCTIBLE CREDITS WITH OUR A/E CLAIMS ASSISTANCE
We have instituted multiple methods to encourage A&E firms to utilize solid loss prevention. Design firms are eligible for deductible credits for use of mediation or implementation of risk management practices.
Mediation 鈥 Using mediation to resolve a design professional claim can earn deductible credits and get you back to running your practice as soon as possible. By resolving dispute through mediation, you can earn a 75% deductible credit for claims resolved within one year (50% thereafter). If you are in Canada, you will be eligible to receive a 50% deductible credit.
Early Resolution 鈥 If you incorporate at least three of our recommended practices, you can qualify for a 75% deductible credit for claims resolved within one year (50% thereafter) in the US. Resolve a claim within one year from the date of the first reporting and receive a 50% credit in Canada.
